Ingredients:
- 250g soft dried dates, pitted
- 1½ scoops Nutrialis high clear whey protein (30g)
- 90–100g oat flakes ground into a powder
- 50g whole grain cereals (or nuts)
- 24g chia seeds or flaxseed
- 30g raw almonds (or other nuts)
- 50g peanut butter or tahini
Optional: honey and melted dark chocolate
Method:
- Blend the dates in a blender until they form a dough-like ball.
- In a bowl, combine the blended dates, oats, peanut butter, nuts, seeds (and honey if using) and mix well.
- Line a small baking tray with non-stick parchment paper, spread the mixture and press down firmly until compact.
- Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or in the freezer for 15 minutes to set.
- Cut the bar into ten small pieces.
