Preparation Specifications

Ingredients:

  1. 250g soft dried dates, pitted
  2. 1½ scoops Nutrialis high clear whey protein (30g)
  3. 90–100g oat flakes ground into a powder
  4. 50g whole grain cereals (or nuts)
  5. 24g chia seeds or flaxseed
  6. 30g raw almonds (or other nuts)
  7. 50g peanut butter or tahini

Optional: honey and melted dark chocolate

 

Method:

  1. Blend the dates in a blender until they form a dough-like ball.
  2. In a bowl, combine the blended dates, oats, peanut butter, nuts, seeds (and honey if using) and mix well.
  3. Line a small baking tray with non-stick parchment paper, spread the mixture and press down firmly until compact.
  4. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or in the freezer for 15 minutes to set.
  5. Cut the bar into ten small pieces.
